SAINTE-ROSE

 Since 2010, the 5 islets near Sainte-Rose have been listed as a UNESCO Biosphere World Nature Reserve. In fact, no less than 30 hectares are now protected. Its islets are ideal places for the reproduction of many species of birds, sometimes endemic to the island.

SAINT ANNE

"Sainte-Anne is a coastal town located on the island of Grande-Terre, in the French overseas department of Guadeloupe, in the Caribbean. On the beachside promenade, a daily market sells vegetables , clothing as well as rum-based cocktails. The Neg Mawon memorial, created by the artist Jocelyn Pézeron, pays homage to escaped slaves. DESHAIE

"A small fishing village surrounded by high wooded hills, Deshaies is full of charm. Located on the northwest coast, there are many Caribbean-style wooden houses. The surroundings of Deshaies are superb, quite a few boats cruises stop there. To see: the village's botanical garden, one of the main sites of Guadeloupe. The former Coluche estate is home to a lush garden, with rare plants and very beautiful parrots." source le Routard
